Memory and Motor Control Group (Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience)

The Higher School of Economics Laboratory for Centre for Cognition and Decision Making, Memory and Motor Control Group in Moscow Russia invites applications for postdoctoral research positions in the field of Cognitive Neuroscience.

The job involves:

• working under the direct supervision of Matteo Feurra (Assistant Professor at Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience)
• participants are encouraged to pursue their own research in parallel with working on Memory and Motor Control Group research projects in 3 broad areas:

o  Memory

o  Motor Control

o  Combination of Non Invasive Brain Stimulation with EEG/MEG

• writing research papers for international peer-reviewed journals in co-authorship with the members of Memory and Motor Control Group
• participation in organization of the events and other contribution to the Lab’s development
• public presentations of candidate’s own research to the researchers in the field and the broader academic community
• some teaching is encouraged, though not required.

The Centre for Cognition and Decision Making, Memory and Motor Control Group offers access to its facilities (TMS, tDCS, tACS, EEG, eye-tracking and any fundamental related software, see the link (https://www.hse.ru/en/cdm-centre/facilities)).

Requirements:

• a PhD from an international research university in such fields as: Cognitive Neuroscience, Cognitive Psychology, Memory, Motor Control, Brain Stimulation, EEG, MEG.
• a strong background in Cognitive Sciences, Cognitive Psychology, Programming, Data Analysis, Academic Writing.
• ability to work in a team,
• fluent English
• relevant experience is an asset although not required
