The Neuroeconomics Group

The Higher School of Economics Centre for Cognition & Decision Making (Moscow) invites applications for postdoctoral research positions in the field of neuroeconomics at The Neuroeconomics Group.

The features & the advantages of the job:

  • The postholder will work under the supervision of Prof. Vasily Klucharev.
  • The postholder will have an advantage of being able to pursue his or her own research in parallel with working on the Group's research projects, e.g.:
  • Neuroeconomics and social influence, including neuroscience of persuasion, cognitive dissonance, etc.
  • Neurobiology of cognitive dissonance, trust and risk-taking, temporal discounting, etc.

The Centre particularly encourage publishing results in international peer-reviewed journals, as well as teaching and other forms of scientific contribution to the Group and the Centre’s development. At the end of the contract there is a possibility to apply for a tenure-track position at HSE.

The Group offers access to its multi-channel EEG, navigated TMS-EEG, behavioral, eye-tracking equipment, MEG, fMRI and a range of neurological populations.

Requirements:

  • PhD from an international research university in such fields as: neuroscience, psychology, economics or applied mathematics
  • background in TMS and/or fMRI and/or MEG/and/or multi-channel EEG/MEG/ recordings and data analysis
  • ability to work in a team
  • fluent English
  • relevant experience is an asset although not required.
