The Institute for Statistical Studies and Economics of Knowledge - Research Laboratory for Economics of Innovation in Moscow of the Higher School of Economics, Russia invites applications for full-time positions of Postdoctoral Felow in Economics of Innovation and related fields.

Requirements

The general requirements for the tenure track positions are the following:

• Candidates must hold a recent PhD in the field of Economics, Management, Policy Studies, Regional Development, which was received over the last 5 years before starting work at HSE in a relevant field by an internationally recognized university and has been assessed by external reviewers as having the potential to pursue research that is publishable in leading peer-reviewed journals;
• Teaching experience at leading foreign universities is desirable;
  
• Knowledge of Russian is not required as research and teaching are both conducted in English. Therefore, fluent English is obligatory.

 

 

The successful candidate is expected to conduct high-quality research publishable in reputable peer-reviewed journals with research support provided by the University.

 

The position involves:

·        working under the direct supervision of Professor Leonid Gokhberg;

·        pursuing own research along with working on Research Laboratory for Economics of Innovation research tasks

·        writing research papers for international peer-reviewed journals;

·        participation in the events of the Laboratory for Economics of Innovation and other contribution to their development;

·        public presentations of own research to the academic community;

·        teaching and supervising master level students.

 

Conditions

Appointments are made for one year. Postdoctoral fellows have high opportunity of renewal of the contract (no more than two times) in case of outstanding performance.

HSE University offers postdoctoral fellows a competitive salary, the standard medical insurance plan; a working space equipped with a computer and free Internet access at the University.
