The Higher School of Economics Centre for Socio-Economic Development in Moscow, Russia invites applications for postdoctoral research positions in the field of psychometrics, educational research methods, educational leadership, social contexts of education, economics, sociology and philosophy of education, anthropology of education, comparative education exploring issues of inequality, educational polices that address social inequality.

The job involves:

• working under the direct supervision of Prof. Sergey Kosaretski, Director of the Centre for Socio-Economic Development (Institute of Education)
• participants are encouraged to pursue their own research in parallel with working on Center's research projects
• writing research papers for international peer-reviewed journals in co-authorship with the members of the Center
• some teaching as well as public presentations of candidate’s own research are also encouraged
• participation in organization of the events and other contribution to the Center’s development

Requirements:

• a PhD from an international research university in such fields of social science as: education measurement, psychology, psychometrics, quality of education;
• ability to work in a team,
• fluent English
• relevant experience is an asset although not required
