Institute of Education (Moscow). Postdoctoral research positions. Deadline: March 25, 2014

The Institute of Education at Higher School of Economics in Moscow, Russia, invites applications for postdoctoral research positions in the field of education research, broadly conceived. Subfield may include psychometrics, educational research methods, educational leadership, social contexts of education, economics, sociology and philosophy of education, anthropology of education.

The job involves:

• working under the supervision of Dr. Alexander Sidorkin, Dean of Graduate School of Education, and the appropriate unit head
• writing research papers for international peer-reviewed journals in co-authorship with the Institute’s faculty
• some teaching as well as public presentations of candidate’s own research
• participation in organization of the events and other contribution to the Institute’s development

Participants are encouraged to pursue their own research in parallel with working on Institute’s research projects.

Requirements:

• a PhD from an international research university in such fields of social science as: psychology, sociology
• ability to work in a team
• fluent English
• relevant experience is an asset although not required
