Laboratory for Comparative Social Research (Moscow). Postdoctoral research positions. Deadline: March 25, 2014

The Higher School of Economics Laboratory for Comparative Social Research (LCSR), invites applications for postdoctoral research position.

The job involves:

• working under the direct supervision of Prof. Arye Rattner and Prof. Leonid Kosals in the research project on Trust and legitimacy in the Law and the legal system;
• to develop his/her own research agenda on organizational corruption and leadership effectiveness;
• writing research papers for international peer-reviewed journals;
• to present findings at the Lab’s seminars;
• some teaching is also encouraged;
• participation in organization of the events and other contribution to the Lab’s development.

Requirements:

• a PhD from an international research university in sociology/criminology;
• a strong background in socio-legal studies/criminology;
• ability to work in a team;
• fluent English.
