The Higher School of Economics invites applications for full-time, tenure-track positions of Assistant Professor, or higher, in Education.
We welcome candidates in all subfields and notably in the fields of research methods, program evaluation, economics of education, organization studies, leadership studies in education, test development, innovation studies, math education, social studies education and sociology of childhood.
The HSE is highly ranked and dynamic Russian research university that provides unique research opportunities to its diverse international faculty. Its Institute of Education is involved in several international educational research programs and is an active participant in the Russian educational reforms. The Institute includes the Graduate School of Education (GSE) with seven Master’s and a Ph.D. program. The position requires a joint appointment at the GSE and one of the research units of the Institute. Finalists will be invited for an on-campus interview.

Requirements:
- Recent Ph.D. in Education, or related fields
- Fluent English (knowledge of Russian is an asset, but not required)
- Ability and high motivation to conduct quality research and publish in reputable peer-reviewed journals and international university presses
Generally appointments will be made for an initial three-year period and upon successful completion of an interim review, contracts would normally be extended for a further three years until the tenure review.
