Postdoctoral research positions. Deadline: April 1, 2015

The University Development Research Laboratory, the Institute of Education at the National Research University Higher School of Economics in Moscow, Russia invites applications for postdoctoral research positions in the field of economics, social sciences, comparative education.

Current projects:

• Higher education system dynamics and institutional diversity in post-soviet countries.
• Higher educational federalism: governance and development of higher education in federal type countries.
• Strategic institutional management in higher education

Position:

• working under the supervision of Dr. Dmitry Semenov, Academic Adviser of  the University Development Research Laboratory
• participants are encouraged to pursue their own research in parallel with working on Centre’s research projects
• writing scholarly papers for international peer-reviewed journals in co-authorship with the Institute’s faculty
• some teaching as well as public presentations of candidate’s own research are also encouraged
• participation in organization of the events and other contribution to the Institute’s development

Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in the field of application or related. The degree must be from  a major international research university with strong research background. All work is conducted in English, knowledge of Russian is not required, although helpful. Individual research centers or labs may have additional specifications.
