Postdoctoral research positions. Deadline: April 1, 2016
The Higher School of Economics -Skolkovo Institute for Law and Development in Moscow, Russia invites applications for postdoctoral research positions in the field of Brazilian IP law, competition law (including unfair competition) and/or contract law.
The job involves:
· working under the direct supervision of Professor Ioannis Lianos and Alexey Ivanov, Director of the Institute;
· participants are encouraged to pursue their own research in parallel with working on HSE-Skolkovo Institute for Law and Development research projects in 3 broad areas:
o competition law
o IP law
o Contract law
· writing research papers for international peer-reviewed journals in co-authorship with the members of the Institute;
· participation in organization of the events and other contribution to the Institute’s development
· public presentations of candidate’s own research to the researchers in the field and the broader academic community
· some teaching is encouraged, though not required.
The Institute offers access to: Hein Online, OECD iLibrary, Springer, JSTOR, etc.
Requirements:
- a PhD from an international research university in such fields as: IP law, competition law and/or contract law;
- a strong background in the IP law in Brazil, competition/consumer protection and contract law legislation and practice involving the food industry sector;
- ability to work in a team;
- fluent English;
- relevant experience is an asset although not required
