The Higher School of Economics Centre for Cognition & Decision making in Moscow, Russia invites applications for postdoctoral research positions in the field of Neuroeconomics.

The job involves:

· working under the direct supervision of Prof. Vasily Klucharev

· participants are encouraged to pursue their own research in parallel with working on Centre for Cognition & Decision research projects in 6 broad areas:

o Neuroeconomics and social influence, including neuroscience of persuasion, cognitive dissonance, etc.

o Neurobiology of trust and risk taking, temporal discounting

· Some teaching as well as public presentations of candidate’s own research are also encouraged. writing research papers for international peer-reviewed journals in co-authorship with the members of the Lab

· participation in organization of the events and other contribution to the Lab’s development

· public presentations of candidate’s own research to the researchers in the field and the broader academic community

· some teaching is encouraged, though not required.

The Lab offers access to its multi-channel EEG, navigated TMS-EEG, behavioral, eye-tracking equipment, MEG, fMRI and a range of neurological populations

Requirements:

- a PhD from an international research university in such fields as: neuroscience, psychology, economics or applied mathematics

- a background in TMS and/or fMRI and/or MEG/and/or multi-channel EEG/MEG/ recordings and data analysis

- ability to work in a team,

- fluent English

- relevant experience is an asset although not required
