The Higher School of Economics, the Center for Institutional Studies (CInSt) invites applications for postdoctoral research positions in the field of Industrial organization.

Topics of interest include but are not restricted to:

· Empirical auction models;

· Collusion in auctions;

· Pricing in oligopolistic markets;
· Entry market models.

CInSt has access to procurementdatasets in Russia which contain micro information on bids, prices and contractual details and information on regional characteristics.

Required qualifications:

We are looking for highly motivated and independently working researchers with interest in higher education. Applicants should have a strong theoretical and empirical background in economics (a PhD degree in Econometrics/Economics/Empirical Economics from a recognized university). Proficiency in spoken and written English is mandatory.

Appointments will be normally made for one year.
