The  School of Public Administration  of the Higher School of Economics in Moscow, Russia invites applications for full-time, tenure-track positions of Assistant Professor in Public administration and subfields notably in Comparative and development Public Administration, Public Policy, Good Governance, Public service delivery, Quantitative and Qualitative Methods in Public Administration. Knowledge of Russian is not required as teaching and research are both conducted in English.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a recent PhD in public administration or related fields, or to be in receipt of the PhD before the starting date of the contract. The successful candidate is expected to conduct high-quality research publishable in reputable peer-reviewed journals with research support provided by the University. The appointments will be made for three years in the first instance, starting in September 2018, with reviews of teaching and research during the third year.

Since we have heavy emphasis placed on high quality research, the teaching load of newly hired faculty is relatively low and service is minimal.
