Job Description:

The Faculty of Economic Sciences in Moscow* invites applications for tenure-track Assistant Professor positions (both entry and advanced levels) as well as senior positions with tenure. We have multiple job openings and the positions are open to all nationalities. Knowledge of Russian is not required as teaching and research are conducted in English.

*Interested candidates may also be considered for positions in HSE branches in St. Petersburg and Perm. Please indicate your interest in the cover letter.

Requirements:

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in economics, finance, financial economics or a related field, or be in receipt of it prior to the starting date of the contract. The successful candidate is expected to produce high-quality research publishable in reputable peer-reviewed journals. Senior candidates must have demonstrated excellence in research and teaching.

Benefits:

The salary is internationally competitive, indexed to inflation annually, and subject to a 13% flat income tax. The university offers health insurance (free of charge), language assistance, and other social benefits; travel support and other research assistance are generous. Since we have heavy emphasis placed on high quality research, the teaching load of newly hired faculty is relatively low and service is minimal.
