Centre for Education Law (HSE Institute of Education, Moscow, Russia) invites applications for postdoctoral research positions in the field of international, comparative and national education Law.
Your profile
· Ph.D. in Law, preferably in the field of Constitutional or Administrative Law, EU Law, Human Rights Law, or International Law.
· Strong academic and / or practical background in International and Comparative Education Law, specific interest in European Education Law;
· Fluency in English. Knowledge of other foreign languages will be considered as an advantage;
· Team oriented;
· Excellent research and communication skills (written and oral).
Your role
The research associate is expected to conduct high-quality independent innovative research within one of the three priority streams of research of the Centre for Education Law:
1. Federalism in Education;
2. Inequality and Social Exclusion in Education (at all levels of education);
3. Accountability and Autonomy in Education.
The research associate is expected to:
· Conduct high-quality doctrinal and empirical research on the proposed topic;
· Disseminate results of the research through publications in highly rated international peer-reviewed journal;
· Prepare policy papers on selected issues linked to the research topics;
· Organise working group meetings;
· Present the results of the research at international conferences and workshops;
· Actively participate in the work of the research task force responsible for the research stream he or she is attached to;
· Contribute in preparing further research proposals within the Centre for Education Law.
Limited lecturing activities in the related field within the existing curricula at Master or PhD level are possible.
