Congratulations to Alexander Tarasov, Head and Associate Professor of the Department of Theoretical Economics, on the publication of his paper "Trade and the spatial distribution of transport infrastructure" in the Journal of Urban Economics .
Presented to the thesis committee was a total of 31 master’s theses. Of these, twenty-one were given excellent grades, with four scoring 10. Researchers from the Laboratory of Methods for Big Data Analysis (LAMBDA) at the HSEFaculty of Computer Science have created a monitoring system that is used in the Large Hadron Collider beauty experiment (LHCb). The German-language event included sections on ‘Law Theory and Practice’, ‘Literature, Culture, and Translation’, ‘Politics and Public Administration’, ‘Sociology’ and more. The conference also featured expert support from the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce.
