German-language ‘Welt und Wissenschaft’ Conference Promotes World Science
On April 25, HSE University hosted the eighth Welt und Wissenschaft international research and practical conference. The German-language event included sections on ‘Law Theory and Practice’, ‘Literature, Culture, and Translation’, ‘Politics and Public Administration’, ‘Sociology’ and more. The conference also featured expert support from the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce.

Mikhail Rogov, Research Fellow at the HSE Faculty of Geography and Geoinformation Technology, and Celine Rosenblat, Professor at the University of Lausanne, published a study titled "Intercity economic networks under recession: Counterintuitive results on the evolution of Russian cities in multinational firm networks from 2010 to 2019" in the Journal of Urban affairs.

HSE University Project Wins Russian-Indian Grant by RSF
The research community gave a highly positive assessment of a joint application by researchers from HSE University and their Indian colleagues in affine algebraic geometry, particularly the problems of cancellation. The head of the project on the Russian side is HSE FCS Dean Ivan Arzhantsev; on the Indian side, the project is led by renowned mathematician Neena Gupta.
